We are looking for Business Development Representatives (BDRs) to join the sales team at our client company, Synopsys (formerly known as BlackDuck). BDRs research prospective customers, create outreach strategies, and identify sales opportunities. As a BDR, you will conduct exploratory conversations with potential customers, use your business acumen to identify how our clients could help a business grow, and successfully position the product value proposition.

This position offers a base salary and bonus. Employees who demonstrate high performance and commitment will have the opportunity for career development and advancement within sales.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct high volume prospecting (60-100 activities per day) to qualify leads through calls, emails, and social media
  • Acquire new business by effectively communicating our value proposition
  • Build and help to maintain long-lasting customer relationships
  • Field incoming inquiries and follow-up on marketing-driven leads
  • Maintain accurate account records and documentation within the CRM
  • Work closely and collaboratively with Sales Representatives to develop and implement appropriate prospecting strategies
  • Schedule marketing assessments and discovery meetings for Sales Representatives to further assess a prospect's business and potential for partnerships

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Previous phone experience preferred
  • Desire to pursue a career in inside sales
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-disciplined with an aptitude to stay on task
  • Desire for continuous improvement and coachability
  • Ability to deal with and thrive on objections and rejection on a daily basis
  • Previous sales experience in which you demonstrated the ability to meet or exceed sales quotas preferred
